About athiv

athiv is a free table tennis rating app, run by an individual developer in Malaysia and being tested in a pilot with clubs. By creating a passport you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

• You need an email address you own. One passport per person.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

Playing fair

• Enter real results, with every game score, honestly.
• Approve results that are right, and dispute the ones that aren't.
• Don't make extra accounts, let someone else use yours, or arrange results to change ratings.
• Use a name people at your club know you by. Nothing offensive, and no pretending to be someone else.
• Follow each club's own rules and opening hours. athiv doesn't replace them.

Club admins

Club admins check disputed results and results that look unusual. They can approve, correct or void a match, and their decision is final in athiv.

Ratings

Ratings are worked out automatically from approved results. They're for fun and for finding fair matches, not an official ranking of any sports association. If a mistake or unfair play is found, results and ratings may be corrected.

Your account

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms, and we'll tell you why where we can.

The pilot

athiv is new and is provided as it is. Features may change, break or stop, and data may be reset during the pilot. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from using athiv.

Table tennis is a physical sport: play safely. athiv isn't responsible for injuries or for anything that happens at a club.

Changes and law

If these Terms change, we update the date at the top and tell you in the app. These Terms follow the laws of Malaysia. Questions: hello@athiv.app.
